Park Tudor has been educating children since 1902, beginning with Tudor Hall School for Girls in 1902 and The Brooks School for boys in 1914, which became Park School in 1929 and later merged with Tudor Hall in 1970 to form Park Tudor School. The school’s facilities have expanded over time, including the Fine Arts Building and Frederic M. Ayres Auditorium in 1976, the Ruth Lilly Science Center in 1989, and the Irsay Family Sports Center for Health and Wellness in 2021. Park Tudor follows the NAIS Principles of Good Practice.

The Park Tudor Summer Experience leadership team includes Rachel Dabertin (Director of Auxiliary Programming), Jeff Edwards (Wellness Facilities Assistant and Summer Program Manager), Andrea Calvert-Sanders (Director of Wellness Programs and Facilities, Director of Tennis Operations and Summer Athletics), Carrie Blankenbaker (Teacher - Grade 1), Lili Helmuth (Summer Experience Teacher), and Cynthia Pauszek (Summer School Nurse). The Wellness Center has become a place for the Park Tudor community to gather and connect with each other.

Park Tudor’s mission statement is “Developing students who learn and live with purpose,” and it states that it upholds a tradition of academic excellence that began in 1902, with small class sizes, a safe and caring atmosphere, and numerous extracurricular activities. One student testimonial describes Park Tudor as a “second home” after attending for 16 years, and another from an assistant lower school director describes care and support for the whole child, with a strong sense of belonging and personalized guidance.
