Bundles of Joy University

Bundles of Joy University offers an accredited early childhood education program that uses Frog Street, a comprehensive researched-based curriculum, as the core of its learning approach. The program focuses on social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and language development through hands-on, play-based learning with a structured curriculum woven into play. The environment is child-centered, clean, and organized around age- and developmentally appropriate activities.

The program is based on the ideal that all children are different and is designed to encourage each child to develop at their own rate in all areas of development. It emphasizes a child-centered environment that is clean and safe, with activities planned around the children and their developmental stages. The program states that it will encourage each child to learn new skills without pushing them beyond their capabilities.

All staff members are credentialed under the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) and have completed training hours beyond those mandated by the Office of Child Care (OCC). Every teacher has had a criminal background check and is certified in CPR and First Aid.

The program maintains a Certificate of Accreditation that certifies it meets standards for quality childhood programs and recognizes its dedication to maintaining educational excellence in the early learning years. All programs at Bundles of Joy Inc. are licensed by MSDE and the Office of Child Care, and all programs follow the Maryland Model for School Readiness. The program uses Frog Street as the core curriculum.

The program places strong emphasis on positive and open relationships with parents and maintains an open door policy. It states that parents are an extremely important part of the center and that it is dedicated to developing and maintaining a positive and open relationship with all parents. The program welcomes information, ideas, and suggestions from parents and acknowledges the difficulties involved with choosing the right center for a family’s needs.

Bundles of Joy University notes that it has partners that help provide experiences for children, including Salisbury Partners and Berlin Partners.

Parent testimonials describe the staff as always available to answer questions, give feedback or ideas, and offer support and encouragement. One parent states that after visiting a few daycares in the area, it was obvious that Bundles was above the rest. Another parent says the staff go out of their way and give “200%” to all they do, and another shares that they “didn't know what we were missing until we became a part of the Bundles family.”
