New Logic Marine Science Camp uses a “hands-on, feet-wet” outdoor education model as part of a marine and environmental education based learning experience. Its general core curriculum is updated seasonally, and topics include biology, chemistry, engineering, geology, and conservation. Each location offers unique field sampling opportunities, and the program runs small scale programs with a specific attendee-to-staff ratio and program size. The program’s curricula are described as award-winning and it was first launched in 2007 in Lavallette, NJ. The camp has been voted “Best Camp” from 2012–2024 and lists partners and affiliations that include Anne Arundel County, Berkeley Township, Hidden Pond, Isla Bella, Neptune Township, Middletown Recreation, NJ DEP, NJ Maritime Museum, Rumson Recreation, Spring Lake, Stafford Township, and Key School. The stated mission of New Logic Marine Science Camp is to ignite passion for marine science, conservation, and environmentalism in the next generation of scientists worldwide through its “hands-on, feet-wet” outdoor education model.

Parent comments about the program include that one child “had a great time and learned so much” and another “had a fantastic time and learned a lot of cool facts about marine life.” Parents also describe the program as “worth every penny,” say their children “couldn’t wait to go every morning to camp,” and note that “the organization and communication were outstanding” and that “the student to counselor ratio and the age groups were perfect.”
