FUNCamp

FUNCamp offers Musical Theatre for ages 7-11. The week includes acting, singing, and dancing, with scenes, songs, dances, and a short musical theatre piece at the end of the week. It also offers Improv/Comedy Jam for ages 12-16, with basic improv exercises, stand-up comedy techniques, comedy scene work, and an original student-crafted comedy improv show at the end of the week.

FUNCamp is an MD State Licensed Youth Day Camp, license # 10-YC-13282. Program days begin at 10 AM and end at 3 PM, unless otherwise noted, and sessions are one week long, unless otherwise noted. Teaching artists are fingerprinted and background checked, and have training and certification in First Aid/CPR, threat/violence aversion, and other best practices education in working with under-age children. Facilities are climate-controlled and routinely inspected by the City and State. There is at least one trained adult to every ten FUNCampers, and a registered nurse is on call all summer long.
