About
FUNCamp is a summer theatre camp where participants take part in imaginative play, movement, music, craft activities, and a morning workout. Campers spend time working on scenes, songs, and dances while creating a short musical theatre piece, a musical revue showcase, or an original theatre piece. Depending on the session, activities can also include theatrical design, acting and voice techniques, set, costume, lighting, sound, and prop design, improv exercises, stand-up comedy techniques, comedy scene work, ensemble-based exercises, public speaking skills, period research, design and rendering skills, construction techniques, creating costume plots, distressing costumes, utilizing unconventional materials, and embellishing and altering items off the rack.
