Hot Fired Arts Classes & Events

Hot Fired Arts Classes & Events offers pottery painting, fused glass creations, wet clay projects, canvas painting, and a glass-blowing workshop that includes making blown glass ornaments. Once a pottery, glass, or clay project is finished, the studio fires the piece, while canvas paintings are taken home the same day they are painted.

• Schedule: Studio hours include daytime and evening options on most days, with walk-ins welcome and reservations suggested for groups of six or more.

Since 2016, Hot Fired Arts Classes & Events has offered hands-on art experiences for all ages. The studio is locally owned and woman led, and it highlights and recommends local small businesses in Frederick and encourages shopping small. Pottery pieces are typically fired and ready in about 7–10 days, glass and clay pieces are ready in about 14 days, and canvas paintings are ready the same day. The studio offers art-centric party experiences with flexible packages for kids and adults, and a party room is available for events such as birthdays, team-building events, and family gatherings.
