About
Panda Programmer offers coding camps, hands-on coding camps, after-school classes, weekend coding classes, and a Wednesday after-school class where kids work on Scratch programming, Scratch Jr, robotics, Python for kids, and HTML and web coding. In these programs, kids create their own interactive stories, games, animations, apps, and other coding projects, and they build, test, and code robots to complete missions. Students also learn how websites work and create web pages of their own.
• Ages: 6–13 years old
• Schedule: One-week summer camp sessions with remaining 2026 sessions scheduled for July 27–31, August 3–7, August 10–14, and August 17–21
Panda Programmer teaches kids real computer science through project-based classes and camps where students build real projects they can show their families. Summer camps include small group sizes of about a 6:1 ratio, experienced caring instructors, curriculum tailored by age and experience, weekly themes, and daily outdoor time and movement breaks, with full-day, half-day, and aftercare options available depending on location. Beginners are welcome, and returning students can continue from where they left off in previous Panda Programmer camps, weekend classes, or after-school classes.
Panda Programmer, Inc is a Maryland-based educational organization dedicated to teaching children in grades 1 through 8 and has taught computer science to thousands of students and campers since 2015.
