Flips Gymnastics

Flips Gymnastics offers gymnastics, preschool gymnastics, acrobatic gymnastics, and recreational classes, along with a competitive team and competitive cheer. The program also provides Ninja Monkeys classes, open gym, birthday parties, private lessons, summer camps, and day camps for school closings. Families can also access before and after school care, cardio equipment, and fitness classes in a premiere, state-of-the-art venue that hosts a variety of competitive programs, parties, and events for athletes and families.

Founder and owner/director Angela Boyle has over 20 years of industry experience, is a lifetime competitive gymnast, was a two-sport Division 1 athlete at the University of Tennessee in springboard diving and pole vault, previously worked as a personal trainer, and has worked with college coaches, Olympic athletes, and Olympic coaches. Flips Gymnastics operates with a mission to be a successful company that is a leader in customer service with a loyal customer following that teaches children self-empowerment through sports. The program offers an award-winning USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic competitive gymnastics team and is home to many State Champions, Regional Champions, and National Qualifiers. Flips Gymnastics serves the communities of Frederick, MD, Mt. Airy, MD, Frederick County, and residents in the Baltimore–Washington Metropolitan Area.

Flips Gymnastics highlights quality instruction with instructors who care, programs for kids of all ages from babies to teenagers, and a focus on building strong foundations in gymnastics technique, strength, and flexibility. Students ages 5 and up receive progress reports, and participants earn a Level Completion Certificate after each leveled gymnastics class. New families receive a 100% one-time tuition-back guarantee after the first four lessons if they are not completely satisfied. Families can use online registration and pre-registration through a Parent Portal, with month-to-month billing and open registration.

Flips Gymnastics has two gymnastics gym locations in Frederick, MD and Mt. Airy, MD, and describes its environment as fun and challenging for both competitive and recreational gymnastics, with a passion and commitment to fun family fitness. The owner/director remains active in coaching the Artistic Team and demonstrates skills rather than coaching only from the sidelines. Conditioning and gymnastics basics are at the core of the program, including conditioning major and smaller muscles that protect from injury. Flips is a for-profit business in the adolescent recreation sports industry, with a target market that includes toddlers through adults and a core focus on preschool and elementary-aged children.
