About

Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor Summer Camps offer a summer of specialty camps that include fun and relaxing outdoor activities and athletic camps. Camps are available for students from Early Childhood through Middle School and are led by dedicated teachers. Each camp requires a minimum of 5 campers, and registration closes on June 1st.

• Ages: 3–13 years old
• Schedule: Camp runs June 16–August 15 with the week of July 4th off; Early Childhood and Grades 1–8 meet Monday–Friday, 9am–1pm, with optional Extended Day until 3pm
• Price: Early Bird registration before May 4th earns a discount; families may pay in full or spread out payments

Drop-off for all camps is at 9am, with pick-up at 1pm or 3pm for Extended Day. Families are asked to send each camper with food, a water bottle, a sun hat, sun lotion if they would like it applied during the day, a bathing suit, a towel, and a set of extra clothes, and to label all items because there will not be a lost and found for the year mentioned. Campers are expected to wear clothes that can get dirty.

Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor opened on September 4, 1980, and the high school campus later expanded with a new middle school building in 2016 and an Athletic & Performance Center and classroom expansion in 2018. The school’s mission states that it nurtures children from Early Childhood through Grade 12 with a Waldorf curriculum that integrates the arts with academic depth and rigor and engages the head, heart, and hands. In 2022, the school marked the Silver Anniversary of the high school and the 42nd year of Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor, and in 2019 it joined the worldwide Waldorf community in celebrating 100 years of Waldorf education.
