TAGS Gymnastics Summer Camps include gymnastics skills on bars, balance beam, trampoline, floor, and Tumbl-trak. Camp days also feature strength and fitness games, theme days, and a variety of games and activities. Campers in Junior Gymnastics Camp, Gymnastics Camp, Trampoline & Tumbling Camp, and Gold Gymnastics Half Day Camp are asked to pack a snack each day.
• Ages: 1–17 years old
• Schedule: Junior Gymnastics Camp is a three day camp (Tuesday–Wednesday–Thursday). Gold Gymnastics Half Day Camp is a four day camp. TAGS offers a 10 week Summer Session of classes.
TAGS Gymnastics Summer Camps offer options for boys and girls ages 3 to 17, including Junior Gymnastics Camp for ages 3 and 4, Gymnastics Camp for ages 5 to 17, Trampoline & Tumbling Camp for ages 5 to 17, Gold Gymnastics Half Day Camp for progressive level gymnasts ages 5 to 17, and Gold Gymnastics Full Day Camp for progressive level gymnasts ages 7 to 17. TAGS Gymnastics has been family owned and operated since it was founded in 1977 and has been a trusted name in Minnesota gymnastics for nearly 50 years. Over 100,000 individuals have attended TAGS, and each week more than 4,000 students take part in preschool gymnastics, recreational classes, and competitive team programs.
TAGS employs over 100 part-time gymnastics instructors and 15 full-time staff members, with more than 30 employees working at TAGS for over 10 years and many for more than 20 years. Coaches are nationally recognized and participate in continuing education through the TAGS staff training program and USA Gymnastics certifications. TAGS offers high-level competitive gymnastics through the USAG Developmental and Xcel programs, with boys and girls teams that compete at State, Regional, and National competitions, and over 115 TAGS athletes have gone on to compete at the collegiate level. The ownership and leadership team includes founders Julia Thompson and Greg Aretz, and since 2013, Tony Aretz and Alex Pesavento, who now lead TAGS and own and operate both TAGS Gymnastics locations. Their stated mission is to provide the highest quality gymnastics program in a safe, fun, and positive environment.
