About
Chaska Juniors Volleyball Club offers competitive volleyball tournaments for girls on Club Teams and Delayed Start Club Teams beginning in 4th grade. The program also includes an officiating clinic and a player fundraising option where athletes sell pizza and/or taco kits.
• Ages: 9–18 years old
• Schedule: Mandatory tryouts for 14's and under (4th–8th graders) are on Sunday, October 25, 2026, and mandatory tryouts for 15's and up (9th–12th graders) are on Sunday, November 15, 2026. Club Team practices start the week after tryouts, run two days a week from November through the end of April, and Club Teams play in competitive tournaments from January through April with an option to extend into May depending on team level and schedules. Delayed Start Teams practice one day per week on Sunday evenings from November through February; 12s and under Delayed Start Teams play in four competitive tournaments in March and April, while 13s and over Delayed Start Teams play in one tournament January 23–24, 2027, one tournament February 13–14, 2027, and three to four competitive tournaments across March and April, with 13s and 14s having an optional opt-in for one or two tournaments in May.
• Price: A $250 deposit is requested on the day of tryouts after a player attends tryouts and is accepted into the Club, and families may either pay the season in full or in five equal monthly installments: the $250 deposit in November, then installments in December, January, February, March, and April.
Chaska Juniors Volleyball Club states that tryout attendance and officiating clinic attendance are mandatory, with any exceptions requiring Board approval, and that by attending the tryout, players are committing to accepting the roster spot for the team they are placed on. The club prioritizes roster spots for athletes who live and attend school within the Eastern Carver County School District boundaries and attend or plan to attend Chaska High School, which it designates as Level 1 Eligibility. Players who make a 1's level team are expected to attend all tournaments and fully commit to their team, and any known conflicts for scheduled tournaments are to be noted on the check-in form during the tryout check-in process. At least one parent or guardian must attend the mandatory parent/guardian meeting at tryouts, and parents are asked to stay onsite during the tryout session. Chaska Juniors partners with a local company, MN Table, so players can sell pizza and/or taco kits as a fundraising option to help offset some of the season cost.
