Junior League includes playing golf on a 9-hole course and one 18 hole round each week on the Minnalaya Putting Course. League play takes place on Mondays and Thursdays, with Monday and Thursday junior leagues operating as separate leagues. Players may register as a single or in groups of 2, 3, or 4, and groups smaller than 4 are paired into foursomes with no more than 4 players per tee time.
• Ages: 9–14 years old
• Schedule: League runs for 10 weeks with Monday and Thursday options, with tee times between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM
• Price: $250.00 includes 10 weeks of green fees on The Loop, 10 weeks of green fees on the Minnalaya Putting Course, a welcome gift, and games and snacks on the final day of League
Juniors in this program must be able to play 9 holes without adult supervision, be able to carry their clubs, and have previous golf experience and basic golf etiquette. Permanent tee times are assigned for the junior league season after registration opens, and no refunds are given to players who miss a league day. If league is cancelled due to weather, free round passes are given to players. One 18 hole round on the Minnalaya Putting Course is included each week and can be used before or after the Loop round, and a guest parent or guardian is encouraged to participate in the Minnalayas putting course round at no charge. The Loop at Chaska is a joint venture between the City of Chaska and Barrier Free Golf, and day-to-day course management is handled by the same team that cares for the Chaska Town Course. The Loop at Chaska has a stated mission to become a national demonstration project that showcases how golf course design can enable access to golf by appealing to new populations, especially golfers with physical and sensory impairments, with a focus on accessibility, environmental sustainability, financial sustainability, and fun through world-class putting surfaces, wall-to-wall short grass, and no bunkers.
