Dakota County Parks Summer Camps offers a variety of themes that include fishing, wilderness survival, and mountain biking. The camps use these activities to make learning about nature a fun, hands-on experience. Group sizes range from 12–24 participants.
• Ages: 4–15 years old
• Schedule: Registration opens Feb. 1 at 9 a.m.
Programs are taught by park naturalists and contract instructors, who are described as experts in their field. Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and scholarship opportunities are available if program cost is a barrier. Dakota County reserves the right to cancel courses due to inclement weather or low registration, and registration fees for courses cancelled by Dakota County are fully refunded. Course cancellations are posted on the Calendar of Events, and registered participants are notified of cancellations due to inclement weather or low registration.
