KidStrong Camp includes games that build confidence and strength, learning through physical activity, STEAM activities, and daily awards to celebrate wins. Camp days also include time for making friends and building social skills.

KidStrong Camp is part of KidStrong, a science-based kids training program that focuses on three pillars: Strong Character, Strong Body, Strong Mind. The camp curriculum blends learning, movement and fun through science-based fitness games and other activities, and is based on the latest in developmental science. Programming is specially designed by child development experts to improve kids’ emotional, mental and physical skills, and is guided by experts in occupational therapy, child development and physical education. Each KidStrong Camp is led by two certified, experienced coaches who have a passion for child development and education, and KidStrong follows a Whole Child Philosophy.
KidStrong was founded in 2015 by Matt and Megin Sharp in Lexington, Kentucky, for their daughter Ella, and they partnered with Lincoln Brown to turn the idea into a scalable business. Families are asked to send kids with a water bottle, a snack (and if camp hours extend to 4pm, two snacks), a packed lunch, and comfortable clothing, along with a change of clothes in case of accidents.
Parents have shared feedback about KidStrong programs, including one parent from Rocklin, California, who said their daughter’s confidence has “skyrocketed” after attending once a week. Another parent from Noblesville, Indiana, described a shy and anxious child who became more confident after starting KidStrong and said they “brag” about the program to friends and family. A parent from San Antonio, Texas, shared that their child with a speech delay was motivated by the KidStrong environment and is now putting effort into learning words and daily life skills like cooking and cleaning.
