KidStrong Camp includes obstacle courses, team games, movement challenges, relay races, ninja courses, STEAM-inspired physical activities, dynamic movement activities, box breathing, mobility work, hands-on activities, and creative challenges. Camp days can also feature a Closing Ceremony where kids showcase what they have learned to their families and an Epic Finale celebration. No KidStrong membership is required to attend camp.

KidStrong Camp takes place in KidStrong centers that feature a “Blue Floor” used for warm-up and movement activities and are described as clean, modern centers. All participants must complete a waiver before attending, and all kids must be potty trained. Doors open 10 minutes before camp begins. KidStrong uses a secure check-in and check-out process through the camp Kiosk, where parents and authorized trusted contacts use a unique PIN for pickup and drop-off, and children cannot leave the building unless they are with a parent or approved guardian.
Every camp is led by KidStrong-certified coaches, who are specially trained, compassionate leaders. The curriculum is based on developmental science and leverages experts in occupational therapy, child development, and physical education. Programming is coach-led and includes team-based games and activities, STEAM-inspired activities through physical challenges at select locations, and the use of the signature affirmation, “I am strong, I am brave, I can do this!” KidStrong is a children’s fitness and enrichment program and is not a licensed childcare, daycare, or educational facility. All centers operate in compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
KidStrong was founded in 2015 by Matt and Megin Sharp in Lexington, Kentucky, and they partnered with Lincoln Brown to turn the idea into a scalable business. Since 2015, KidStrong has grown to more than 160 locations serving more than 65,000 kids per week and celebrated its 100th center opening with franchisee Barb Volk in Plantation, Florida.
KidStrong describes its mission as a science-based kids training program that builds strong, confident, and high-character kids. Its programming is described as specially designed by child development experts to improve kids’ emotional, mental, and physical skills, and everything is based on the Whole Child Philosophy, focusing on Strong Character, Strong Body, and Strong Mind.
