Forest Lake Hoops Club offers traveling basketball, including participation in the Forest Lake Freeze basketball tournament and the MYAS 3rd grade league. Players can also take part in the 10,000 Shot Club, with recognition and rewards planned at a varsity game during the 2025–26 season. Teams practice two to three times per week, with the latest practice time running from 7:30–9 p.m.

• Price: Season registration is $400 for second–fourth grade and $450 for fifth through eighth
Tryouts are scheduled on September 8th and 9th for the girls and on September 10th and 11th for the boys. The 2025 Forest Lake Freeze Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, January 18th, 2025 for boys and Sunday, January 19th, 2025 for girls, with no gate fees at the tournament. Parents are required to fulfill one “dibs” spot per child in the local Freeze basketball tournament, which will be held January 17–18, 2026. The club is the home of Forest Lake Area Traveling Basketball and offers a 2026 FLHC College Scholarship application for high school seniors who played for the Forest Lake Hoops Club for at least three regular seasons. Hoops Club teams that give back in some way to the community are recognized for their acts of goodness, including representation of Hoops Club and FLAAA in the Forest Lake Fourth of July parade. The leadership team includes Neil Cooper as Hoops Club president, Chris Serritslev as vice president, and Andrea Bleskey as secretary.
