Lakes Volleyball Club offers a fall travel club volleyball season, an after-school volleyball program with weekday games, the Jr. Ranger fall travel volleyball program, regular volleyball practices, and Saturday volleyball playdates. The program also runs a Lakes Volleyball Club season for club volleyball and holds a Lakes Volleyball Club Monthly Board meeting.
• Ages: 10–18 years old
• Schedule: Jr. Ranger fall league runs from August through mid-October with evening practices twice a week and five Saturday playdates; Lakes Volleyball Club seasons for 12s–18s run from the first week of December through late March or mid-April with multiple competition dates and regular practices
Lakes Volleyball Club states a mission to exceed the expectations of players and parents by providing a well-organized program with a highly qualified coaching staff and focused improvement targets for each age bracket. The program follows a systematic and consistent approach to teaching volleyball skills, techniques, and teamwork that builds each year, and develops these techniques in conjunction with the Forest Lake High School Volleyball program. Lakes Volleyball works within the Junior Olympic Volleyball program and provides a highly qualified coaching staff. The Lakes program focuses on fundamental skills in the early age brackets (12s and 13s), then adds techniques and more complex skills each year, and requires full dedication and commitment by players and parents to create competitive teams. The program keeps costs competitive by utilizing school facilities, working with FLAAA, partnering with community businesses and sponsors, and organizing fundraisers that reduce program fees to players. The Lakes Volleyball Club Monthly Board meeting is open to all, and all are welcome to join.
