About

Camp Foley Environmental Education Center gives students and adults a chance to take an exploration hike through the Minnesota woods while learning about the plants and birds that live there. The program takes place at the Foley Environmental Education Center, which is available in the fall and spring for overnight or day groups.

Since 1970, students and adults from all over Minnesota have been coming to Camp Foley’s Environmental Education Center in Pine River to learn about the environment, conservation, and local wildlife in a natural setting. The program follows the belief that nature is an essential part of a person’s learning process. Camp Foley is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity. The Camp Foley Environmental Education Center is described as the perfect field trip for primary, middle, and high school students, and as a place for youth to be immersed in nature, learn to respect and appreciate the natural world, witness the changing environment in spring and fall, and leave with new environmental skills and knowledge, new friendships, and a greater sense of self.
