Trout Lake Camps runs three age-specific summer camps with week-long programs that run all summer. The program includes Wild Woods, a fully immersive story crafted for 1st to 3rd grade campers; The Point, which offers skills classes, new adventures, and free time for campers to make their own choices; and Timber Ridge, a site created for students to live in Christ-like community, step out of their comfort zone, and encounter God in a new way. Trout Lake Camps also offers family-focused camps and retreats such as Fourth of July Family Camp, Labor Day Weekend, and themed weekend retreats like Father/Son, Father/Daughter, Mother/Daughter, and Mother/Son, along with weekend retreats for youth and adults.

Trout Lake Camps officially opened in 1947. Its stated mission is to share the life-changing Gospel of Jesus in unique camp communities that prioritize safety and extraordinary fun. The camp describes its approach as one where high energy fun intersects with a deep spiritual focus, and where having fun is fundamental to the Trout experience. Trout Lake Camps creates environments that prioritize physical, emotional, and spiritual safety and serves a wide-ranging community on behalf of Converge North Central, majoring on the core doctrines of Christianity. Since 1960, Trout Lake Camps has been a member of the Christian Camp and Conference Association (www.ccca.org). The program also offers a Senior High camp that, for one week only, takes over Timber Ridge with large-scale games, activities, chapels, seminars, and worship, and it runs a Disciple Team where students grow in faith, leadership, and real-world skills through service and mentorship, with flexible scheduling and either volunteer or paid summer staff positions.
