Spirit Gymnastics offers early development gymnastics classes, recreational gymnastics classes, high school gymnastics classes, and USAG competition, along with competitive Xcel and J.O. programs. Spirit Gymnastics has operated its Gymnastics Camp at Hamline University for 42 years. The program’s stated mission is to improve the holistic lives of young people through the sport of gymnastics by offering programs that match each student’s needs, motivation, and skill level, from beginning to advanced level recreational classes, birthday parties, circus classes, gymnastics for CrossFit classes, high school classes, and competitive Xcel and J.O. programs for ages 2–18+ years. Spirit Gymnastics states that it works to foster a welcoming, safe, diverse, and invigorating learning environment and that it focuses on developing skills in strength, balance, flexibility, and self-esteem through a fun and challenging environment. The program describes its instructors and coaching staff as experienced, professional, dedicated, passionate, and highly trained, and it notes a high number of repeat campers each year.
