About the provider
In 1970, co-founders Jim Caron and Don Collins created MCT. Its mission is empowering children and adults through theatre education and performance to develop lifelong skills while enriching communities worldwide through live productions. The Red Truck Tour is recognized as the world’s largest touring children’s theatre of its kind, and MCT visits nearly 1,100 communities around the world each year, including all 50 US states and 16 different countries.
All children audition, are cast in a role, rehearse, and perform in the show. Production Classes are open to children currently in K-12. The audition and casting take place the first week of class. Scholarships are limited partial scholarships and require volunteer hours by ushering. Missing rehearsals may affect the role a child receives or performs. All children are welcome, and special accommodations may be requested by email.
What families say
“A beautiful theatre with tons of camps, workshops, and performance opportunities for children and adults!” — KAYLA BORETSKY | Local Guide in Missoula, MT
“All in attendance were impressed with the show, as well as how great the students performed. Many were very impressed by the fact that they had only been rehearsing for 1 week. Many students and parents were asking when we could have MCT come back again!” — 108 MILE RANCH | BC 5/2012
