Summit Area YMCA Programs

Summit Area YMCA Programs offers Parent & Child Swim: Stage A and Stage B for children ages 6 months–3 years. It also offers Preschool Swim Lessons: Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3 for ages 3–5, School Age Swim Lessons: Stage 1 through Stage 6 for ages 6–12, and Swim to Success: Lifeguard Readiness & Endurance Training for ages 12–18.

The Summit Area YMCA was founded in 1886. It serves more than 15,000 individuals each year with free and fee-based programs and services in the New Jersey communities of Berkeley Heights, Gillette, Millburn, New Providence, Short Hills, Springfield, Stirling, and Summit.
