About

School Based Services After-School Enrichment Programs are part of the School Based Services offerings of The Children’s Home Society of New Jersey. The programs are included in a broader set of school-day and after-school enrichment programs that serve infants, children, youth, and families who are at risk.

The Children’s Home Society of New Jersey was founded in 1894. Its mission is to find loving families for children, to protect children from harm, and to help parents find better ways to be parents so they can keep their children. The organization is a not-for-profit agency with programs that include behavioral and mental health services, permanency planning, community and neighborhood-based services, school based services, and early childhood and parent education services. It sponsors federal WIC, 21st Century Community Learning Centers, and Head Start/Early Head Start programs. A nationally recognized team of 300 staff and 900 volunteers delivers services from 12 locations, with programs that address the developmental continuum from pre-natal to adult. Michael Roseborough is associated with School Based Services as a contact.
