Camps 'R' Us offers activities including ‘R’ Cade, Arts & Crafts, Court Sports, Creative Edible Art Activities, Dance, Field Sports, Gaga, and Game Room time. Campers also take part in Special Events, STEAM Activities, Summer Camp Field Trips, Swimming & Pool Activities, Traditions, Welcome to the Splash Zone at Camps ‘R’ Us, EDUCAMP®, and WonderWorks®.

Camps ‘R’ Us is family-owned and operated and has been in operation since 1993. Long Island natives Joanne and Gary Turnier founded their first summer camp in 1993, and Camps ‘R’ Us has served tens of thousands of children across Long Island since then. The Massapequa campus is scheduled for its inaugural season in 2025. The program offers Tiny Tots® for Nursery and Pre-K, Campers for grades K–4, and Explorers® for grades 5–8. The mission of Camps ‘R’ Us is to build better qualities in kids by helping children grow physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially, bringing out the best in every young person served.
Camps ‘R’ Us is an ACA-accredited private day camp and is described as Accredited, Award-Winning, and Affordable, and as Long Island’s most affordable ACA-accredited private day camp. The camp is family-owned and operated for over 30 years and serves Long Island communities, bringing its camps into the heart of these communities so that quality, affordable camp is never out of reach. Cheryl and Jason Turnier lead Camps ‘R’ Us today, and Jason has served as Managing Director for over 15 years. Cheryl is a former educator with a B.S. in Childhood Education and English Literature from LIU Post, and Jason earned his MBA from LIU Post. The Massapequa campus leadership team includes Campus Director Amanda Harvey and Assistant Director Mollie Healey. Families have access to on-demand early drop-off and late pick-up, and an app is available for iOS and Android.
