Nassau County Police Activity League – Massapequa Unit is part of a county-wide youth program that offers sports, crafts, educational, and other team and individual programs for boys and girls. The program is one of 31 units that together offer more than 40 activities, programs, and sports and serve over 20,000 participants each year.
NCPAL has been serving the youth of Nassau County for more than 8 decades. Its mission is to operate youth clubs and provide sports, crafts, educational and other programs of a team and individual nature for all boys and girls in Nassau County regardless of race, religion, income, or disability, with activities intended to prevent juvenile delinquency, steer children away from gang activity, and support positive interaction between police officers and youth. NCPAL has successfully facilitated police officer, community, and youth interaction and involvement for over 82 years. NCPAL has the largest Special Needs Unit in the nation.
