NCPAL Massapequa is part of NCPAL, which operates youth clubs and offers sports, crafts, educational, and other programs of both team and individual nature for boys and girls in Nassau County. The program includes activities that involve interaction between police officers and youth.
NCPAL has been serving the youth of Nassau County for more than 8 decades. Its mission is to operate youth clubs and provide sports, crafts, educational and other programs of a team and individual nature for all boys and girls in Nassau County regardless of race, religion, income or disability, with activities intended to prevent juvenile delinquency, steer children away from gang activity, and support positive interaction between police officers and youth. NCPAL has successfully facilitated police officer, community, and youth interaction and involvement for over 82 years. NCPAL has the largest Special Needs Unit in the nation.
