Katonah Art Center offers pottery classes, kid's clay classes, and workshops, along with specific classes such as Painting from Life, Art Journaling, Fabric Collage and Hand Stitching, Gel Plate Printmaking, Monotypes, and Planting the Creative Seed. The program currently offers 43 classes and includes pottery classes for all levels.

Since 1998, Katonah Art Center has been described as Northern Westchester's go-to hub for artistic learning. The faculty is made up of professional working artists, many of whom have been exhibited nationally, featured in art magazines, and/or published books in their areas of expertise. The mission of Katonah Art Center states that beginners and accomplished artists can rekindle a neglected passion for art, continue artistic studies, or try a new medium at KAC.
One parent described Katonah Art Center as offering encouraging, inspiring teachers, a variety of classes, flexible schedules, and interesting and friendly classmates, and called it a “second home.” Another parent called it “a professional experience for all ages” and said “there’s no reason just the kids should have all the fun.” A parent of two boys said the instructors are fun, smart, and engaging, and that their children learn to draw, paint, and sculpt there. A parent of a seven-year-old who has attended since age three said her child has broadened skills in cartooning, drawing, painting, and clay sculpture and has grown in what the parent described as a safe and nurturing environment while expressing her creative side.
