Nyack Summer Camp includes arts and crafts projects, cooperative games, organized sports, swim lessons, recreational swim time, outdoor play, themed weeks, special weekly trips, and guest visitors. The program uses a basketball court for sports and group challenges and a swimming pool for swim lessons and recreational swim time. It offers weekly sessions during the summer.
• Ages: 9–12 years old
• Schedule: Weekly sessions from June 29th, 2026 to August 7th, 2026, 9AM–4PM, Monday–Friday
• Price: Early Bird Rate (February 2–February 28): $525.00 per week; Standard Rate (March 1–May 31): $560.00 per week; Late Rate (starting June 1st): $585.00 per week; $100 non-refundable deposit per week due at registration before June 1st, 2026; full payment required for registrations after June 1st, 2026; 5% multiple child discount on tuition only; campers 5–12 years old: $12 monthly Youth Membership; campers 13–16 years old: $20 monthly Teen Membership; a 3% processing fee applies to all credit card transactions for YMCA Summer Camp registrations.
Rockland County YMCA states its mission as strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Nyack Summer Camp is accredited by Praesidium. Financial aid applications for summer camp are due by May 1st and are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis, and membership is required for all camp registrations. All applicants must register online with a $100 deposit per week applied to the total camp cost, submit the required supporting documentation, and maintain an active membership during camp.
The leadership team connected to the program includes John Dillon, Director of Youth Development; Danielle Ball, Associate Director of Youth Development; Jacob Coston, Assistant Youth and Sports Teen Director; Philip Donnelly, CEO – Chief Executive Officer; and Randi Hertzman, CFO – Chief Financial Officer, along with members of the Board of Directors and officers: Hon. Linda Christopher, Kristina Coleman, Kim Coons, Antonio Dinkins, Daniel J. Garcia, Kevin Hanlon (Board Secretary), Wayne Henry (Board Treasurer), Max Jacobs (Vice Chairman), Eric Kolle, Stephanie Melowsky (Board Chairman), Chris Sampson, Raquel Sanchez, Shaffer, Rony Charles, Joe Chiappa, Brian Metcalf, and Candice Whatley. Rockland County YMCA reports that it provided 180 Nyack Head Start children with warm coats, shoes, and socks with support from Operation Warm, Subaru, and the community, and that the 2025 YMCA Gala raised over $85,000 to support youth scholarships and community programs.
