JCC of Greater Columbus Youth Recreation Programs take place within the broader offerings of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Columbus, which include in-person and virtual options through its Virtual J platform. Virtual J provides access to virtual programming, workouts, events, and other activities for members of all ages.
• Schedule: Building hours in the summer are Monday through Thursday from 5:30am to 9pm, Friday from 5:30am to 8pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 8pm, through August 16, 2026.
The Jewish Community Center of Greater Columbus is a human service agency offering a varied program that is Jewish in nature and is committed to enhancing the quality of individual and family life through the promotion of physical, intellectual, and spiritual wellness. It provides educational and cultural programs that reflect the Jewish heritage, health-related activities, and many services to the community at large, and pursues its mission of strengthening the individual, family, and community through its wide array of programs. The JCC has served Columbus’ Jewish community since 1913, with milestones that include the establishment of Camp Schonthal in 1927, the opening of the College Avenue facility in January 1983, and the launch of Virtual J in March 2020. Charity Navigator has awarded the organization four out of four stars. The JCC of Greater Columbus is a community partner of JewishColumbus and has more than 6,500 members representing about 3,800 households in Central Ohio, with locations in east, northeast, and northwest Columbus. As part of its facilities and amenities, the JCC features the Sprayground, a water playground for children with spray jets and fountains used during the summer, and is adding the Andrew Ethan Stern Pickleball Complex and the Sam Baker Aquatics Complex, which will include a zero depth entry pool and water slides.
