About
Cultured Kids Club offers Spanish, French, and Chinese language programs through community center programs, after-school programs, summer camps, Parent & Tot classes, Pre-K Explorers classes, private one-on-one lessons, and live online Zoom language center programs. The program uses a “Language In Action®” total immersion foreign language curriculum that focuses on speaking, reading, and writing, and includes advancing language levels and multi-age group classes.
• Ages: 18 months–14 years old
Since 2008, Cultured Kids Club has educated thousands of students in foreign language proficiency. The program is a Total Immersion foreign language center and offers award-winning “Language In Action®” total immersion foreign language programs that align with ACTFL standards and use six language proficiency levels to progress toward bilingual fluency. All classes are structured toward language proficiency and the student’s age, are categorized by age and proficiency level, and are designed to educate and support children at their individual level with everyday social interaction and common communication topics. Classes have small group sizes of 6–8 children, and registered families receive access to a “Student Corner” webpage with extra between-class learning materials such as practice sheets, Quizlet games, cartoons, YouTube videos, and suggested tablet and phone apps.
Cultured Kids Club’s goal is to provide children the advanced language skills necessary to achieve native-level communication in reading, writing, and verbal pronunciation for a lifetime of opportunity in education, employment, and world adventure. Teachers are native-speaking or fluent, have teaching experience, hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, have early education experience, are CPR and First Aid certified, are up-to-date on FBI and BCI background checks, and are trained and proficient in Total Immersion and Total Response teaching methods. Teachers are experienced in administering “Language In Action®” classes at every age and skill level and have native pronunciation and communication skills. One parent shared, “We’ve been coming to Spanish class for our 3 year old since he was 1 1/2. It’s a great place to be around other toddlers, learn and enrich his mind with new ideas and topics every week. We’re planning on joining the advanced pre-k class!” — Brittany Y.
