About
National Inventors Hall of Fame Education Programs (Camp Invention and Related Programs) offer hands-on fun and creativity with science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) concepts. These education programs combine hands-on activities with STEM concepts and integrate 21st-century learning with fun, hands-on activities. Several programs promote innovation for all ages, in all communities, including Camp Invention for K-6th graders, Club Invention for 1st-6th graders, a Leaders-in-Training program for 7th-9th graders, and a Leadership Intern Program for high school and college students.

Since 1973, the National Inventors Hall of Fame has been honoring the spirit of innovation and promoting inventors as role models, impacting more than 4 million children, students, educators and innovators across the nation. To fulfill its mission of making STEM education accessible and promoting innovation across the country, the education team collaborates with National Inventors Hall of Fame Inductees to create new program curricula each year. The programs align with state and national education standards and provide the next generation of inventors with skills that last a lifetime.
The leadership team includes Rachelle Albrechta (Director of Program Development), Jayme Cellitioci (Senior Director of Education), Ashley Giordano (Manager of Program Management), Susie Duchon (Education Specialist), Rachel Lutes (Curriculum Writer), Emily Mitchell (Senior Content Writer), Sara Pompeo (Editor), Maggie Saine (Spanish Services Lead & Education Specialist), and Jennifer Sitton (Director of Science & Product Development). Team members hold degrees and credentials in fields including art education, gifted education, psychology, biology, creativity and change leadership, history, museum studies, middle childhood education with a focus in mathematics and ELA, advertising, professional and technical writing with journalism, psychology, Spanish, biopsychology, cell and organismal biology, and science education, and include a Creative Education Foundation trained Ideator and a certified Dream Manager.
The National Inventors Hall of Fame Education Programs operate in partnership with over 2,500 schools and districts nationwide and in Puerto Rico over the past year. The programs were founded and are supported in partnership with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, with 2,144 philanthropic partners making STEM education more accessible.
