Mt. Ashland Ski Area Lessons & Programs are taught by Certified Snowsports Instructors. The program is part of Mt. Ashland Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing an outstanding alpine recreation experience for people of all ages and skill levels. Families can also use the Mt. Ashland Ski Area Mobile App connected with these lessons and programs.

Mt. Ashland Association has been serving the community since 1964. The Ariel and Windsor Chairlifts were originally installed over 45 years ago and are now part of a Chairlift Replacement Project to replace these lifts. The organization describes itself as a local mountain with great snow and exciting terrain, providing access to a diverse alpine environment and a fun family atmosphere. The General Manager of Mt. Ashland is Andrew Gast. Mt. Ashland Association states that it is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing an outstanding alpine recreation experience for people of all ages and skill levels and to remaining an asset to the community. One testimonial from The People’s Bank describes Mt. Ashland as one of the “precious gems” of southern Oregon and notes its role in outdoor recreation, employment opportunities, and tourist spending in the region.
