Youth Programs at The Crest at Willow-Witt include playing games, telling stories, hiking, making crafts, and performing garden tasks. Campers take part in animal care such as adventuring with goats and collecting chicken eggs, and they join guided hikes, turtle and bird hikes, and pollinator surveys. Activities also include studying turtles and birds, farm-to-table cooking with salads, breads, and seasonal recipes, nature art and journaling, team-building challenges, service learning, evening programs with stargazing and songs, and BioBlitz opportunities.

• Schedule: Weekly summer day camps Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–3:00 pm, offered for 7 weeks from June 15, 2026 to July 31, 2026; an Overnight Farm and Forest Adventure Camp runs four days and three nights
• Price: Summer Nature Day Camp at The Crest is $500 per week, with an Early-Bird rate of $450 per week before June 15, 2026, 11:59 PM; a $50 non-refundable deposit is required at registration; full and partial scholarships may be available depending on need; a 10% discount is offered for additional campers from the same family; payment in full is due 10 days before each camp week
The Crest is an educational 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Its mission is to cultivate the integral connection between people and nature. Suzanne heads up the organization, and since 1985, Suzanne Willow and Lanita Witt have been stewards of Willow-Witt Ranch. The Crest nonprofit organization relies on donations to support youth programs and to give community groups the chance to experience the local ecosystem, and it offers volunteer opportunities. Monument Days is a special program in partnership with Friends of Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument, led by FCSNM interpretive rangers, and event proceeds at Willow-Witt Ranch go to The Crest to help fund the nonprofit and its programs.
A morning snack is provided at camp, and lunch is brought from home. Families are advised that campers dress in layers, with clothing such as shirts, shorts and/or long pants, good walking shoes or boots, and a wide-brimmed hat or baseball cap, along with sunscreen. Recommended items to pack in a backpack include a water bottle, sunscreen, sweatshirt or jacket, a full lunch preferably in zero-waste containers, a snack, a rain jacket if rain is in the forecast, and a change of clothes including extra socks. No dogs or pets are allowed inside the gate.
