Ashland Family YMCA Summer Day Camps and Youth Sports Camps include Traditional Day Camp, Sports Day Camp, and a range of specific sports and activity camps such as Basketball, Dodgeball, Flag Football, Flip N Fly, Gym & Swim, Ninja Challenge, Pickleball, Soccer, Swim and Sports, Volleyball, Sports of All Sorts, Archery Camp, Art Camp, Pee-Wee Sports Camps, Gymnastics (Pee-Wee), Water Polo Camp, and Lacrosse Camp. The program also offers overnight camps at YMCA Camp DeBoer and Outdoor School (ODS). Traditional Day Camp includes outdoor education, swimming, crafts, songs, physical activity, and adventure, and most activities are held outdoors with some indoor activities based on the day.

• Schedule: Week-long camps with morning options generally from 7:30am–12:00pm, afternoon options generally from 1:00pm–4:00pm, and some camps running specific hours such as 9:00am–12:00pm or 11:00am–1:00pm; Pee-Wee Sports Camps run Tuesday–Thursday from 9:00am–10:30am

Traditional Day Camp for ages 5–11 offers morning sessions from 7:30am–12:00pm and afternoon sessions from 1:00pm–4:00pm, with morning drop-off as early as 7:30am, camp starting at 9:00am, and 12:00pm–1:00pm care included for morning and afternoon campers who bring their own lunch; campers are typically grouped by the grade they will enter in the fall. Sports Day Camp for ages 5–14 follows the same general morning and afternoon schedule, focuses on fundamentals and strategies of a specific sport, may be held indoors or outdoors depending on the sport, and groups campers by age and/or skill level. Extended Care is available from 4:00pm–6:00pm per week.

Basketball camps for ages 5–11 run June 22–26 and August 17–21 from 7:30am–12:00pm, with drop-off from 7:30am–9:00am and camp starting at 9:00am, and for ages 12–14 on the same dates from 1:00pm–4:00pm with drop-off from 12:45pm–1:00pm. Dodgeball for ages 8–12 runs June 29–July 2 from 7:30am–12:00pm with drop-off from 7:30am–9:00am and camp starting at 9:00am. Flag Football for ages 6–11 runs July 6–10 from 7:30am–12:00pm with the same drop-off and start times.

Flip N Fly for ages 5–12 meets from 1:00pm–4:00pm on June 15–19, June 29–July 2 (no camp July 3), July 13–17, and August 10–14. Gym & Swim for ages 5–12 meets from 1:00pm–4:00pm on June 22–26, July 6–10, July 20–24, August 3–7, and August 17–21. Ninja Challenge for ages 6–12 runs June 8–12 and July 27–31 from 1:00pm–4:00pm, with drop-off from 12:45pm–1:00pm.

Pickleball for ages 7–14 runs August 3–7 from 7:30am–12:00pm, with drop-off from 7:30am–9:00am and camp starting at 9:00am. Soccer for ages 5–12 runs June 15–19 and July 27–31 from 7:30am–12:00pm, with drop-off from 7:30am–9:00am and camp starting at 9:00am. Swim and Sports for ages 5–12 runs July 13–17 from 7:30am–12:00pm with drop-off from 7:30am–9:00am and camp starting at 9:00am, and August 10–14 from 1:00pm–4:00pm with drop-off from 12:45pm–1:00pm and pick-up from 3:45pm–4:00pm.

Volleyball for ages 5–10 runs July 13–17 from 7:30am–12:00pm, with drop-off from 7:30am–9:00am and camp starting at 9:00am. Sports of All Sorts for ages 5–12 runs July 20–24 from 7:30am–12:00pm with the same drop-off and start times. Pee-Wee Sports Camps for ages 3–5 run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00am–10:30am, require participants to be potty trained, and do not require parents to stay; Pee-Wee Gymnastics is offered June 23–25, July 7–9, July 21–23, August 4–6, and August 18–20, Pee-Wee Soccer is offered June 16–18, and Pee-Wee Sports of All Sorts is offered July 21–23.

Archery Camp for ages 9 and up runs June 15–19 and July 27–31 from 1:00pm–4:00pm, and July 6–10 and August 10–14 from 9:00am–12:00pm, and is taught by certified USA Archery instructor Amanda Holbo. Art Camp for ages 6–12 runs June 22–26 from 9:00am–12:00pm and August 3–7 from 1:00pm–4:00pm, includes supplies in the camp fees, and advises participants to come dressed for the mess. Water Polo Camp for ages 8–10 and 11–14 runs June 8–12 from 11:00am–1:00pm, states that no prior water polo experience is required, and notes that scholarships are available through ashlandwaterpolo.org.

Lacrosse Camp for ages 7–15 runs August 24–28 from 9:00am–12:00pm and is run by Coach Mark Brown, Executive Director of Rogue Valley Youth Lacrosse Association. Overnight camps are offered for ages 6 and up at YMCA Camp DeBoer at Lake of the Woods, which also hosts Outdoor School programs and operates on a limited, seasonal basis for programs and scheduled events only. For all morning and afternoon camps, 12:00pm–1:00pm care is included for campers enrolled in those sessions, and campers must bring their own lunch.

Archery Camp is led by Amanda Holbo, who holds USA Archery certification. Water Polo Camp is coached by Andy Gramley, the current head coach of the AHS Boys and Girls water polo teams, along with experienced camp counselors. Lacrosse Camp leadership is provided by Coach Mark Brown in his role as Executive Director of Rogue Valley Youth Lacrosse Association.
