Company & Clark Dancers offers a 12 Week Choreographers Workshop that includes teaching and creating choreography, a group warm-up, and tech rehearsals for the Greenshow stage focused on spacing and dancing. The program includes preparation for a performance in the OSF Greenshow, with Juniors learning three dances of about three minutes each to be performed in a 40-minute show on June 20 with Company & Clark Dancers. Dancers are responsible for remembering choreography and are given access to a private educational video of the choreography and a copy of the musical score.
• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: 12 Week Choreographers Workshop running April 2nd–June 20th, with classes on Thursdays from 3:45–4:45 and a show on Saturday evening, June 20 at 6:45
• Price: Costume fee (approx. $50–$75); Tuition for 12 weeks $149
Dancers receive a direct link to a private video of the choreography that is shared only with parents and students for educational use. Tech rehearsals for the Greenshow stage, including spacing and dancing, are announced during the week of June 12–June 19, based on weather and availability. All dancers are expected to attend all 12 weeks, as this is a group participation program where everyone is depending on each other. The program is led by Artistic Director Tina Clark and has been established in Ashland, Oregon since 1997. Company & Clark Dancers participate in the Choreographers Workshop for OSF Greenshow and appear in the OSF Green Show.
