About

Amazon Center Summer Camps offers activities such as outdoor play in woods and meadows, arts and crafts, group games, sports, and board games. Some camps include a field trip, a visit to Amazon Pool, and a visit to a local park as part of the weekly schedule.

• Ages: 3–12 years old
• Schedule: Camps run Monday–Thursday, with options from 9 a.m.–12 p.m., 9 a.m.–4 p.m., or 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m.
• Price: For camps over $100, a 25% non-refundable deposit is due at registration. Pool costs are included in the price of Amazon Camp for ages 6–8 and 9–11, and pool and field trip costs are included in the price of Morse Farm Outdoor Camp.

Experienced staff provide a safe and stimulating environment. The mission statement for Amazon Center Summer Camps is “Imagine, play and create! Amazon Camps offer a wide variety of themes and topics.” Registration opens at 9 a.m. on April 22, 2025. Full camp fees and Participant Information Forms are due 21 or more calendar days before the start of camp, and no extended care is available for any listed camps.

For Amazon Camp ages 3–5, the schedule is Monday–Thursday from 9 a.m.–12 p.m., and caregivers are asked to send a snack, a water bottle, and sunscreen; campers must be 3 years old and potty trained by June 1. For Amazon Camp ages 6–8 and 9–11, the schedule is Monday–Thursday from 9 a.m.–4 p.m., campers should bring a big lunch, a water bottle, sunscreen, a swimsuit, and a towel every day, and these age groups visit Amazon Pool one to two days each week. For ages 12 and up, campers are welcome to bring snacks. Morse Farm Outdoor Camp runs Monday–Thursday from 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m., offers outdoor play in woods and meadows all day long, and campers should bring a big lunch, a water bottle, sunscreen, a swimsuit, and a towel every day.

Each week, Morse Farm Outdoor Camp spends one day on a field trip and one day at Amazon Pool and a local park, with pool and field trip costs included in the camp price, and field trip destinations subject to change due to weather. At Morse Farm Outdoor Camp, campers are split into two groups based on factors including camper age, staff ratios, and Rec Bus capacity; caregiver requests and suggestions for grouping are considered but not guaranteed.

All waitlist invites are sent by email to the primary email address on the Eugene Rec account, and each invite expires 24 hours after being sent. Families can check waitlist position by logging into their Eugene Rec account and using the “Waiting List Status” menu. Withdrawal requests must be made 21 or more calendar days before the first day of camp to qualify for a refund, all refunds are subject to a 25% withdrawal fee per camp and per camper, and no refund is made if withdrawal is requested 20 or fewer calendar days before the first day of camp.
