About
Oregon Ballet Academy Summer Programs include ballet classes, pointe, partnering, female and male variations, an alternate dance type, cross training, choreography sessions, dance-related workshops, dance watch and study, dress-up, crafts, games, and yoga. The program offers themed ballet camps such as Angelina Ballerina Ballet Camp, Fly like a Dragon Ballet Camp, Wicked Ballet Camp, and Ballet Fairy Camp, where dancers may also read and learn about stories and characters, learn about dragons and choose a dragon name and special dragon dance skill, learn about music from Wicked and its story and characters, and learn about famous fairies from different popular ballets and create their own fairy. Camps include a mini performance for family and friends at the conclusion, and dancers in these camps can wear any color dance attire they wish.
