Kidsports offers flag football for children in grades 1–8. Kids participate in a gradual, progression-based introduction to football that uses fundamental skills and age-appropriate game formats and rules modifications. Each player receives a Kidsports T-shirt.

• Price: 1st & 2nd Grade Flag Football fee: $105; 3rd & 4th Grade Flag Football fee: $135; 5th & 6th Grade Flag Football fee: $135; 7th & 8th Grade Flag Football fee: $135
Coaches in Kidsports flag football are vetted and trained volunteer coaches, and Kidsports coaches are fully background checked. Kidsports is a nonprofit youth sports program serving Eugene-Springfield and the surrounding areas. The program’s mission is that children and teens have the opportunity to play a variety of skills-based sports throughout the year.
Kidsports offers several financial support options, including seasonal sports league scholarships of 40% off standard registration fees during the school year and a 25% scholarship discount for eligible camp and clinic programs. A military family discount provides one free sports league registration per school year for families with a parent currently deployed with the U.S. military. The Charles Warren Adopt-A-School Endowment Fund supports Kidsports participation vouchers for students enrolled in the Bethel, Eugene 4J, and Springfield school districts, and scholarship applications are kept 100% confidential and are not shared with coaches or anyone outside the organization.
Each flag football player is strongly encouraged to purchase and wear a mouthguard and is expected to bring a water bottle to each practice and game. Kidsports coaches do not provide transportation to games or practices. Only the registered participant may be dropped off without parental supervision, and parents and guardians are encouraged to stay and watch practices and games when possible.
