About
Whole Earth Nature School offers Summer Camps, Overnight Camps, Coyote Outdoor School, F.O.R.E.S.T. Canopy, and F.O.R.E.S.T. Understory. Summer Camps are week-long summer day camps, and Overnight Camps include 3-day, 2-night and 5-day, 4-night schedules.
Programs
- Summer Camps — 5-17 · 9:00am-3:00pm M-F · $465 per week · Week-long summer day camps held at Mount Pisgah Arboretum and Hendricks Park in the Eugene/Springfield area.
- Overnight Camps — $888 per week · Overnight camps held at Little Fall Creek Camp outside of Jasper and at Eel Creek Campground on the coast.
- Coyote Outdoor School — fifth- and sixth-grade students · 3-5 day programs · State-funded Outdoor School with a focus on land-based education.
- F.O.R.E.S.T. Canopy — teen students · 2-hours weekly + monthly outings · 9-month experience.
- F.O.R.E.S.T. Understory — teen students · Full-day once a month on Saturdays · 9-month series.

About the provider
Whole Earth Nature School was founded in the fall of 2009, and operations were transferred to a newly created nonprofit entity in January 2012. Ana Bradley, Matt Bradley, and Rees Maxwell are named as founders, Joe Ramagli is Executive Director, and Meadow Scott is Operations Director. The school is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
All camps have a 1:6 ratio plus an additional CIT. Aftercare is available until 5:30pm. Scholarships of 25% or 50% are available for summer camps. Overnight programs have 3-day, 2-night and 5-day, 4-night schedules. Student leadership opportunities include CITs for Day Camps and Junior Counselors for Overnight Camps.
