Peake Academy Camps and No School Day Programs

Peake Academy Camps & No School Day Programs take place at Peake Academy at Play Boutique and use an indoor playground with a transformed space each week that includes theme-based materials and activities. The programs include Early Release, Holidays, Winter Break, Spring Break, Super Summer Camps, and other No School Days, with campers grouped by ages 1 to 2 years, 3 to 6 years, and 5 to 9 years. Children spend time unplugged from technology, moving their bodies multiple times a day, and taking part in age-appropriate activities and predictable transitions that are planned with learning outcomes and opportunities for discovery through engaging play.

• Schedule: Morning, full-day, and extended-day options, including camp and No School Day choices throughout the year
• Price: Morning Session - 9:30am-1pm: $40/day (3+ years), $50/day (1–2 years); Full Day Session - 9:30am-3:30pm: $70/day (3+ years), $80/day (1–2 years); Extended Day Session - 8am-5pm: $85/day (3+ years), $95/day (1–2 years); Add-ons: Hot lunch $5/day; Extended Day 8am-9:30am/3:30pm-5pm: $14/hour (3+ years), $16/hour (1–2 years); Counselors in Training (10+ years): $150 weekly or $30 daily

Peake Academy Camps & No School Day Programs are part of a locally owned and operated organization with longevity in the Early Childhood Education field and more than 15 years as a parenting partner for families. The mission of the program is to provide each child with individualized attention in a structured environment that promotes quality learning opportunities, safe conditions, and a joyful sense of self-expression and development. The program uses a multi-sensory approach to learning that includes cognitive, manipulative, creative, science exploration, music, large and small motor activities, and community awareness, and also offers enrichment classes such as Reading Readiness, Spanish, Yoga, and Dance. School readiness programs and full-day and half-day preschool options are available for children ages 1 through 6 years, with flexible options for no school days and summer that engage kids ages 1 to 10 years, as well as Digital Preschool with virtual classrooms and planned curriculums.

All staff members are licensed teachers, all lead teachers have a college degree, and all teachers have CPR and First Aid certification and a complete background check prior to employment. The program follows a separation preparation process to help transition children from home to a structured environment with routines and schedules, and it diligently follows the CDC’s safety and sanitization requirements and recommendations and goes beyond them. Peake Academy offers unique scheduling options and a make-up policy that allow families to design a schedule that meets their specific needs, along with a Peake Academy family benefit that lets currently enrolled families attend their regularly scheduled time at no additional cost when the summer schedule changes to a shorter day. Nurturing counselors are chosen for their lively spirit and many talents, and Play Boutique is described as a place to gather, play, and build community in a safe, family-friendly environment.
