About the provider
Lu’s Swim School says swimming is one of the most important life skills to learn and that it aims to meet each child where they are. The leadership team includes Coach Lu, and the page also mentions Coach Kyle. The staff are described as qualified, trained, and passionate, with training in stroke development, child psychology, and emergency response.
Small class sizes; no membership required; flexible scheduling; shorter sessions available. Large group classes are not ideal for beginners. If a child has fear of water, anxiety, or is stubborn, private or semi private lessons are recommended. Parents receive regular updates. Water safety is emphasized.
What families say
“We love this swim school. We have three kids (5, 11 and 14) and have tried many different places for swim lessons. Lu’s Academy is hands down the best. Our five year old went from floundering to swimming breast stroke in two weeks. Seriously. Our 11 year old is now thinking about joining a swim team. Friendly and knowledgeable coaches make each lesson fun for the kids and the parents.” — Travis
“My girls absolutely loved swim lessons with Coach Kyle! Not only did he teach how to swim but he did so in such a fun way and the pool was absolutely amazing! We will be back!” — Michelle
