About
Jesuit High School Athletic Camps offer sport-specific summer sessions in baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, cross country, sprint and sprinters speed training, football, men’s and women’s lacrosse, men’s and women’s soccer, softball, and volleyball. Camp activities include running cross country or distance events in track and field, running sprint events in track, and improving speed, agility, flexibility, power, and explosiveness.

• Schedule: Summer athletic camps with sport-specific sessions offered on set date ranges, generally running for several consecutive days with morning, mid-day, afternoon, or evening time blocks
• Price: All camps are $160; Refund Policy: Up to two weeks prior to camp: $25 penalty; one week prior to camp: $50 penalty; first day of camp: $75 penalty
Every camp is led by Jesuit High School head coaches and their staff, including men’s basketball head coach Gene Potter, women’s basketball coach Jason Lowery, cross country coach Tom Rothenberger, elite sprint specialist Coach Nate Moreland, and head men’s lacrosse coach Marc Torrey, with the women’s lacrosse camps led by the high school coaching staff and current athletes. The camp director is Martha Cope, and the leadership team also includes women’s soccer coach Coach Fennah, men’s soccer coach Coach Skipper, and Vice Principal of Student Life Steve DeKlotz. Jesuit High School was founded in 1956 by the Society of Jesus and is a Catholic, coeducational, college-preparatory school for grades 9–12 that serves students of all religious faiths, with a mission rooted in the Jesuit educational tradition and a goal of educating students to be open to growth, intellectually competent, religious, loving, and committed to doing justice.
Jesuit High School employs a full-time Campus Safety team, has an on-site School Resource Officer, requires mandatory background checks of employees, and enacts a Youth Protection Policy. All faculty, staff, coaches, and priests complete training to recognize and prevent abuse of children, and volunteers and part-time staff who have any contact with students are required to complete abuse-prevention training. Jesuit High School does not tolerate discrimination, harassment, abuse, or power-based personal violence, assigns each student to a trained counselor to whom they can report abuse or other concerns with an expectation of privacy, and publicizes a state hotline for confidential, anonymous reporting of abuse, bullying, or other harm. Jesuit High School offers programs such as Sources of Strength to teach students to combat power-based personal violence, including sexual assault, dating violence, and bullying, and insists that students and staff treat one another as holy beings made in God’s image.
For women’s lacrosse camps, all participants must bring their own stick, eye gear, mouthguard, and proper athletic shoes, and Jesuit does not provide this equipment. For men’s lacrosse camps, all participants must bring their own stick, helmet, gloves, arm pads, chest protector, cleats, and mouth guard, and Jesuit does not provide this equipment.
