Nike Boys Basketball Camp University of Portland includes shooting drills, dribbling drills, gameplay tactics, scrimmaging, games, skill stations, and full court play. The camp follows a daily schedule that covers shooting and dribbling drills, gameplay tactics, scrimmaging, games, skill stations, and full court play. All summer campers receive a Nike Basketball Camp t-shirt, and each camper receives a handwritten evaluation and certificate when they complete the camp.

The camp is led by Shantay Legans, head coach of the University of Portland men’s basketball team, along with his staff, including Matt Meyer and Anthony Separovich. Shantay Legans led Eastern Washington to the 2021 NCAA Tournament, earned a Big Sky Coach of the Year honor, guided teams to two conference championships, and was ranked 11th on ESPN’s “40 Under 40” list of top college basketball coaches under 40 in 2020. He was a finalist for both the 2021 Skip Prosser Man of the Year Award and the Ben Jobe Award and served on the NCAA Rules Committee and CollegeInsider.com's Eracism Committee. Matt Meyer is the Director of Basketball Operations for the Pilots, previously served as Director of Player Development, and was the ASU Men’s Basketball Team Manager for four years before graduating from Arizona State University in 2022. Assistant coach Anthony Separovich joined the University of Portland men’s basketball program in 2025 after serving as recruiting director for AUSA Hoops, where he helped place over 100 players into college teams, and previously coached in Australia, leading the Norths Bears to a championship and guiding a team at Shore School to an undefeated state title season.
