Premiere Academy of Performing Arts

Premiere Academy of Performing Arts offers classes in Ballet, Modern/Contemporary, Tap, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Creative Dance, Baby Ballet, Intro to Modern/Jazz, Adult Ballet, Adult Tap, and Adult/Teen Modern. Baby Ballet is offered in 6 week sessions and is taken with Mommy, Daddy, or Grandma. Creative Dance is taught through imaginative lessons and exercises, and Modern classes include developing choreography and movement style through improv exercises and studies, exploring non-traditional partnering, floor work, and dabbling in acro.

• Price: Classes range from $55.00 to $300.00 per month, with a $40 registration fee per student or $60 per family, $15 drop-in fee per class, and Junior Unlimited at $250 per month and Senior Unlimited at $300 per month

Premiere Academy of Performing Arts opened their doors in 1999. The program is under the direction of Sara Alvarez and Jena Rennick. The stated mission is to provide high quality dance classes in a positive, encouraging environment, with a focus on strong technical foundation, creativity, expression, passion for dance, and instilling self confidence, discipline, determination, and integrity. The Ballet program is certified with the Royal Academy of Dance and follows the RAD syllabus and system, offering training from beginner to pre-professional level. The program also offers adult and teen recreational classes in Ballet, Modern, and Tap that do not perform in the Recital, as well as drop-in classes that do not require registration and do not perform in shows, and an option to take as many classes as desired through Junior Unlimited and Senior Unlimited.
