About

Windells Ski Camp offers skiing along with a wide range of on-campus activities, including skateboarding, trampolines, dodgeball, foam pits, and biking. Campers have access to skate-friendly terrain such as a miniramp, concrete bowl, quarterpipes, spines, banks, hips, a vert wall, rollers, ledges, rails, steps, and manual pads, as well as areas for aerial maneuvers off snow. Additional activities include using a dirt pump track, technical woods with rocks, skinnies, ladders, and log drops, shopping for gear, testing skis, snowboards, boots, bindings, decks, trucks, wheels, helmets, and safety equipment, gear tuning, relaxing and socializing, roasting s’mores and hot dogs, playing horseshoes, tether ball, and volleyball, and attending Takeover Pro autograph signings.

Campers are supervised around the clock by friendly, helpful, and trained staff members. The campus includes nearly 90,000 square feet of skatepark space, trampolines, a dodgeball court, foam pits, the Concrete Jungle (50,500 square feet of outdoor skate-friendly terrain), and an indoor skatepark in B.O.B. – The Building Out Back with concrete ramps, two Olympic-sized FlyBed trampolines, a super tramp, and an airbag. Additional features include a MaxAir Super Quad 14’ x 14’ trampoline next to a 60’ x 60’ BagJump, a campus dry slope with two down tubes and two boxes in a typical setup, the Milepost35 trail system with a massive dirt pump track and various bike terrain, The Camp Store, The Demo Center, and The Courtyard grass field at the center of camp. The Camp Store offers backpacks, sunscreen, lip balm, sunglasses, and other amenities, and The Demo Center offers free testing of gear from popular industry brands with a tuning center located just outside. The program operates in a tobacco- and alcohol-free environment on a private campus where campers are not permitted to leave camp boundaries unless under SuperVision. Windells Ski Camp notes “Our Mission” and has received Camper’s Choice Awards, and it operates on the grounds of Wy’east Mountain Academy. A new dryslope and airbag from Banger Bags, Austria, is planned for summer 2025, described as an Olympic training feature with a jump size varying from 30 feet up to 60 feet with 100+ feet to the sweet spot, with team training slots available fall 2024.
