Wy'East Mountain Academy was established in 2009. The school states its mission as "Life improvement through people, place, and passion." It is certified Gold Club by U.S. Ski and Snowboard and reports 700 student volunteer hours.

The school enrolls grades 7-12/Post Grad and offers transferable high school or college credits. Tuition includes room and board, coaching, access to campus facilities, Edgenuity classes, and more for the 2026-27 Boarding School. Ski passes and additional athletic trips are not included in tuition. Summer term tuition includes Timberline lift tickets, park access, Landing Bag access, weekend activities, and transportation to and from airport. There is a $2,500 deposit required to hold a spot.
