About
Seek NW Skate Camp focuses on skateboarding, with campers riding a variety of on-campus parks and taking skate trips to some of the best skateparks in the Pacific Northwest. The program includes daily skateboarding, daily video analysis, and the option to join all-girl skate clinics and other optional all-girl activities through the Seek Girl program. Campers also take part in rafting, campfires, dodgeball, arts and crafts, and other Authorized Awesome off-hill activities as part of a full summer camp experience.

• Schedule: Four 7-day summer camp sessions
Seek NW Skate Camp runs as an all-inclusive summer skateboard camp with lodging, hot breakfast and dinner with a sack lunch, and access to a 28-acre private campus that includes trampolines, a dodgeball court, foam pits, and over 89,500 sq. ft. of private skateboard parks. The campus features over 90,000 sq. ft. of skateable terrain, including The Concrete Jungle, Backyard Bowl, Courtyard Plaza, and B.O.B. (Building Out Back), a 12,000 sq. ft. indoor skatepark, along with over 100,000 sq. ft. of skateable concrete surrounded by volcanic rain forest. Skateable terrain has been designed and hand-shaped over fifteen years by Director of Skateboarding Jamie Weller and his friends.
The program offers a GROMS program for campers ages 9–12, a Seek Girl program with optional all-girl activities and all-girl skate clinics, and adult skate programs. Seek NW Skate Camp includes daily trips to local Pacific Northwest skateparks, weekend adventures around Oregon such as skate tours at Northwest skate parks, hiking, exploring, and trips to the coast, and multi-session options with supervised weekends and a medic on call at all times. Campers receive camper t-shirts, and sticker requests are fulfilled by mail with free stickers.
Seek NW Skate Camp operates with a staff of over 100 and 24-hour SuperVision, and offers airport shuttles to and from the Portland, OR airport (PDX). Campers have time on weekends to do laundry and get personal items from the store, and counselors can help with laundry. The team of skate coaches is described as knowledgeable and experienced, and the leadership team includes Executive Director and Co-Owner Kevin English and Director of Skateboarding Jamie Weller.
Seek NW Skate Camp states its mission as “LIFE IMPROVEMENT THROUGH SKATEBOARDING” and notes a founding philosophy of “We can do it better.” The program has a history of over 35+ years of making summer camp and was formerly known as Windells. Seek NW Skate Camp is for everyone, welcoming all skaters of all abilities, from beginners to those aiming for video parts or X Games podiums, and includes opportunities to meet and skate with well-known pro skateboarders such as Silas Baxter-Neal, SEBO WALKER, David Gravette, Kevin Kowalski, Brad McClain, Cody Lockwood, Willis Kimbel, and more. The organization also lists Giving Back and Scholarships, including a Scholarships Application, as part of its community involvement.
