Innovative Dance

Innovative Dance offers classes in tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, lyrical jazz, lyrical, and acrobatics. Classes take place at the Innovative Dance studio.

• Schedule: New classes begin every summer and fall.

Innovative Dance opened in 1998 under the leadership of owner and Artistic Director Molly Kaleikilo. The professionally trained staff teaches tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, lyrical jazz, and acrobatics. Molly’s goal is to give every student a quality dance education, from the recreational to the serious dancer. It is the desire of Molly and her staff to provide a fun experience for each child so they can grow, along with a safe and secure physical environment. Innovative Dance has been a place where students of all ages and abilities can learn and share in Molly’s love for dance. Innovative Dance is celebrating 25+ years in business.

Innovative Dance has won the Class Act award several times as a result of Molly’s commitment to picking age-appropriate music and costumes. Innovative has also won the Sportsmanship Award at multiple competitions. Molly believes that sportsmanship and character growth are as important as being a good dancer, and she teaches and reinforces life skills like a positive attitude, kindness to others, and a strong work ethic.

Parents describe Innovative Dance as a studio with talented teachers and a kind owner. One parent shared that their daughter felt loved and accepted at Innovative Dance during times of trial and medical obstacles. Another parent said their girls have taken acro, tap, jazz, lyrical, and ballet and that they love everything about Innovative Dance.
