About
Therapeutic Preschool is part of the Family Resources Counseling Center and focuses on social and emotional learning for children. The program includes support for children who have experienced trauma and need emotional and behavioral support. Therapeutic Preschool is connected with the FURiends program, which is a trauma-informed, strength-based service that uses the human-animal bond to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals. The broader organization also operates ChildLine, which accepts child abuse referrals and general child well-being concerns and sends the information to the appropriate investigating agency.
