About

Lake Hills Church Kids and Student Ministry Programs include kids’ services that are described as jam packed with songs, games, and Bible teaching. The Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way in an age-appropriate environment. Middle school and high school students also take part in student ministry gatherings.

• Ages: 0–18 years old
• Schedule: Services are offered at 9:15am and 11:00am, with middle schoolers meeting on Sundays at 11:00am and high schoolers meeting on Wednesdays at 7:00pm.

Leaders and volunteers in these programs are fully background checked and trained. The programs are part of a church that describes itself as a family of faith united in Jesus and surrendered to His authority. The mission states that Lake Hills Kids aims to come alongside parents and partner with them to help develop a child’s full God-given potential, and that the student ministry exists to create an environment where students belong as they are and become all that they were created to be. The church states that it is passionate about the next generation, believes that students can change the world, and believes that every child is designed by God to do great things on this earth. The church also states that life in a relationship with Jesus is the best possible life and far exceeds what is considered “normal” by today’s standards. Pastor Mac is described as a passionate communicator about sharing biblical truth. The church notes that Austin is the live musical capital of the world and that services are led in worship by some of the best musicians and vocalists around. Families are asked to arrive 15 minutes before services to allow time to check in their child, get them settled in their room with their leader, and still have time to park, get coffee, and be seated before the service begins.
