Still Water Camps

Still Water Camps is a Christ-centered sports, adventure, and leadership camp that includes sports training. Sports training at Still Water Camps is led by middle school, high school, and college coaches. The camp setting includes a kitchen, pavilion, water slide, river, and cabins.

Still Water Camps offers overnight camps, day camps, and family camps. The organization was formed as a nonprofit in October 2001, and its first camp was a boys football camp held in July 2002 in Medina, Texas. The founder and leader is Matt Moehrig, also known as Coach Mo. The mission of Still Water Camps is: “Still Water Camps create safe, diverse environments to share the truth of the Gospel through evangelistic and discipleship-focused initiatives to build community and transform lives.” Still Water Camps shares the life-changing truth of Jesus Christ through evangelistic and discipleship-focused initiatives in partnership with the local body of Christ. The camp offers scholarships for approximately 50% of campers, with about 30% funded internally and 20% funded externally, and brings together kids from many different backgrounds to have first-time experiences together in adventure and in the love of Christ.
