Summer Day Camp

Greater Austin YMCA Youth Programs include mental health programs, child care, swim programs, youth sports, camp, and group classes. These programs are part of the Greater Austin YMCA’s efforts to serve children, adults, families, and seniors in the community.

For nearly 75 years, the Greater Austin YMCA has evolved as a nonprofit to address each community’s greatest needs. Its mission states that it serves expecting families seeking child care, seniors playing pickleball, and people in every phase of life, with a focus on expanding access for all in the Greater Austin area. The Greater Austin YMCA is recognized as a tax-exempt nonprofit organization under Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3). The organization notes that parents lacking affordable childcare, children needing to be safe near water, kids needing sports or play, teens needing engaging ways to build skills, adults needing fitness, and access to mental health care for everyone are reasons why the Y matters in Greater Austin. All Greater Austin YMCA locations will be closed on Sunday, April 5, 2026, in observance of Easter.
