Greater Austin YMCA Summer Camps

Greater Austin YMCA Summer Camps include activities such as STEM projects, hands-on arts and crafts, physical activity, fun organized games, and active games and team activities. Campers take part in a challenge course, canoeing, fishing, and atlatl (spear throwing), along with arts, creativity, and other hands-on projects. The program also includes swim experiences and water fun, swimming, movement, outdoor play, and field trips and special activities.

• Ages: 4–14 years old
• Schedule: Full-day camp options Monday–Friday, with before-care and after-care available
• Price: Full-Day Y Summer Camps: Y Member: $310–340; Guest: $335–365; Before/Aftercare: $25/week. Full-Day Adventure Summer Camp: $365 (Y Members); $390 (Guests). $0 registration fee with weekly deposits applied toward total tuition, and Y Members receive $25 off every week of summer camp.

For nearly 75 years, the Greater Austin YMCA has offered programs for families. The stated mission is that at the Y, every child deserves a summer to learn, grow and thrive. The Greater Austin YMCA is a nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3) and partners with school districts and churches across Austin and Hays. The program notes weekly camp options, multiple Greater Austin locations, financial assistance availability, weekly and single-day scheduling options, and a variety of full-day, half-day specialty, and traditional camps that can be mixed and matched, with swim and activities included.
